Job Description
We are seeking an Information Security Business Partner for a contract-to-hire opportunity in the south Denver area (I-25 and Lincoln). In this role, you will work closely with the Information Security and Governance/Risk/Compliance departments. You will be the Information Security advocate for Information Technology departments and additional business units. You will provide Cyber Security risk advice to business partners to effectively manage risk to the business. In addition, you will provide advice regarding new and ongoing initiatives to validate that security and technology controls are implemented to support business and IT Security requirements.
Primary responsibilities of the Information Security Business Partner include the following:
Partners with Business Units to identify, analyze and mitigate risk associated with cyber risks and Information SecurityProvides consultation for new and ongoing security initiatives.Information Security Risk ManagementPolicy ComplianceData ProtectionEducation and Awareness Increased levels of security across designated Business UnitsImproved compliance with security standards and policies across Business Unit teamQualificationsBachelor's Degree and at least 3-5 years of directly related experience. Must have a solid understanding of SOX, PCI, FACTA and similar IT Compliance regulations. Must be proficient with MS Word, Outlook and Excel. Experience with SharePoint a definite plus.Strong understanding of audit/risk management methodologies and regulatory requirements pertaining to information security, privacy, PCI and/or data security
Other Qualifications:
Professional certification (CISA, CSIM, CIA or similar) is highly desired.Additional InformationThis contract-to-hire role will be onsite in the souht Denver area (I-25 and Lincoln area)
