Information Security & Compliance Analyst
Description We are in search of an Info. Security & Compliance Analyst to join our team in Deerfield Beach, Florida. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining the highest standards of assurance programming for our clients. As an Info. Security & Compliance Analyst, your focus will be on IT governance and compliance, including assessment compliance program management, assurance, and control framework maturity evaluations. You will also be responsible for managing, operationalizing, and communicating a range of compliance initiatives across the enterprise. Responsibilities: • Manage and measure compliance initiatives across the enterprise, including SOC 1 Type 2, MAR, NY DFS 500, CCPA, HIPAA, amongst others. • Execute program tasks related to the evaluation of security control framework maturity, including stakeholder interviews, documentation reviews, and maturity quantification. • Proactively validate controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. • Review regulatory and compliance matters related to information technology, perform necessary gap analysis, and act as an advocate for information security practices. • Develop and maintain IT policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring the implementation and maintenance of an information technology, including security and privacy controls framework. • Engage control owners and key stakeholders across the enterprise to collect and test evidence and assess compliance to various requirements. • Foster relationships with key partners throughout the company, maintaining compliance and risk management initiatives in a GRC platform. • Facilitate IT audits and assessments, including remediation of any findings noted. • Understand contractual elements with third parties, and maintain updated information from the government and across the industry regarding identification of new security standards and governance. • Establish governance around disaster recovery function, collaborating with key business and IT leaders to develop security and disaster recovery standards and action plans. • Conduct periodic internal assessments for security risk and compliance as directed. Requirements • Proficient in Documentation processes, with the ability to create, review, and maintain security documents. • Strong understanding and experience in implementing Procedures and Policy related to information security and compliance. • Must possess deep knowledge in Compliance, including regulatory compliance and IT controls. • Proven experience in Project Management, with a demonstrated ability to manage security-related projects. • Prior experience in Audit processes, specifically in IT and security auditing. • Expertise in Security measures, including data protection, network security, and incident management. • Familiarity with Quality Assurance practices, and their application in information security. • Experience in managing Compliance Functions, with a focus on ensuring adherence to security policies and regulations. • Strong skills in Risk Management, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigation in the context of information security. • Demonstrated knowledge in Internal Control systems, particularly in establishing and evaluating security controls.
