This position administers information security and applies measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure. Processes security requests per approved procedures. Confers as required with management, development personnel, risk assessment staff, auditors, facilities and security departments, and other relevant personnel about issues related to ensuring that only approved security access methods are being utilized. Is familiar with security standards and regulations as required to provide enforcement and plays a key role in responding to and managing security incidents to minimize impact on the organization.

What You'll be Doing:

Administers information security through processes and tools to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.Reviews computer system access reports to identify possible security violations, and escalates findings for further investigation and resolution.Investigates and responds to security incidents, ensuring appropriate actions are taken to contain, mitigate, and remediate threats in a timely manner.Coordinates with incident response teams to conduct root cause analysis of security incidents.Assists in maintaining and executing incident response plansMonitors security tools and alerts for signs of potential incidents, ensuring rapid response to threats and vulnerabilities.Documents security incidents, including timelines, steps taken, and resolutions, to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal reporting requirements.Conducts post-incident analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of response procedures, making recommendations for process improvements to enhance future responses.Ensures compliance with security standards, regulations, and best practices during incident response activities.This job profile is not meant to be all inclusive of the responsibilities of this position; may perform other duties as assigned or required.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

Bachelor’s degree or equivalentIndustry certifications, including one or more of the following: CISSP, CISA, CISM, SANS GIAC, or other industry specific certification5+ years of experience in Information SecurityAdvanced expertise in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) technologies and incident response processesFamiliarity with information security standards, including NIST, COBIT, ISO 27001, ITILExperience with security systems and principles.  Ability to understand security policies and apply them to everyday situationsAble to multitask, manage multiple requests and respond to customers in a timely mannerFamiliarity with multi-platform environments and their operational/security considerations.Ability to relate business requirements and risks to technology implementation for security-related issuesTechnical proficiency in security-related systems.  Ability to explain the use and function of these systems to those who use themProven ability to work under pressure in resolving system access issuesStrong customer focus and ability to manage client expectationsStrong team-oriented interpersonal skills.  Ability to interface effectively with a wide variety of people
