Job Description We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Information Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain robust security solutions to protect our systems, networks, and data. This individual will play a critical role in safeguarding the organization against cyber threats, enhancing security infrastructure, and driving innovative security practices across the enterprise. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities:  Security Architecture & Implementation: o Design and deploy secure systems, applications, and networks following industry best practices. o Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, DLP, and other security solutions. o Integrate security tools and technologies into existing systems and workflows.  Information Technology: o Perform disaster recovery operations and data backups when required o Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application, and other system issues o Build and maintain IT infrastructure and enterprise systems supporting our business objectives  Threat Detection & Incident Response: o Monitor and analyze system activity to detect suspicious behavior or potential threats. o Respond to security incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and implement corrective actions. o Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks.  Vulnerability Management: o Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses. o Work with relevant teams to remediate vulnerabilities and improve overall security posture.  Automation & Optimization: o Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline security processes and improve efficiency. o Optimize existing security systems to ensure maximum performance and reliability.  Collaboration & Training: o Work closely with IT, and software development teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle (DevSecOps). o Provide guidance and training to employees on security best practices, threat prevention, and overall cybersecurity awareness.  Documentation & Reporting: o Maintain detailed documentation of security systems, incidents, and configurations. o Prepare and deliver reports on security metrics, incidents, and risk assessments to management. Skills and Requirements Education: o Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.  Experience: o 35 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or information technology. o Hands-on experience with security technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, endpoint protection, and cloud security tools. o Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platform.  Skills: o Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, tools, and frameworks (e.g., NIST, SOC 2, CIS Controls). o Strong knowledge of network protocols, architecture, and security concepts. o Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their security features. o Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.  Certifications (Preferred): o Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Security +, CompTIA Cloud+, AWS Solutions Architect null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
