What you will be doing

As an Information Security Cyber Risk Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization's risk management framework. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience and develop foundational skills in cyber risk management and information security practices. You will closely collaborate with the Information Security team to assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential cybersecurity risks.

Responsibilities:

Actively participate in internship program training activities, developmental opportunities, and eventsDeveloping interpersonal and communication skills to successfully lead a frontline workgroupDemonstrate willingness to learn and take risks; step out of comfort zone and take on new assignmentsGain understanding of all business areas to develop business acumenFoster an inclusive, diverse, safe, and secure cultureCarry out duties and responsibilities by department through internship rotations as trainedAll other duties based on business needs

What your background should look like 

Experience and Educational Requirements:

Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programAbility to work 40 hours a week during the Cencora ten-week summer intern program.Must not require sponsorship to work in the US now or in the futureAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Good project management skills.Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills.Good analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills.Ability to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions.Must be eager to learn, self-motivated, flexible, accountable and can effectively handle multiple concurrent tasks.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Knowledge of computers to operative effectively with MS Office tools (MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint).Power BI experience would be advantageous.
