PLEASE NOTE: This is a backfill for a contractor that has recently left the position. It is probable that this project will be extended indefinitely beyond the initial time frame, pending fiscal approval.
ISS will analyze and enhance the State’s Information Security program and establish a successful roadmap strategy of the steps needed for implementing processes and procedures, and methodologies to identify areas of risk within our cyber infrastructure and develop strategies to mitigate or eliminate those risks.
The ISS will be responsible for implementing deliverables from the roadmap strategy and working with OHSP Critical Infrastructure staff where practical. This role will involve taking a lead role over working as a team.
Develop and sustain a State Cyber security strategy to facilitate threat/risk analysis including a formalized public-private IT working group that spans all CIP sectors.
Working with the Statewide Office of Information Security, develop and document information security policies, procedures and standards.
The consultant will be responsible for oversight of all of the activities surrounding this investment.
Years of Experience: 5 plus year
Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study
Skills:
Prior experience functioning as a team lead in writing writing cybersecurity Policy documents

Past work with security prevention systems

Prior work in the development of cybersecurity policy across multiple organizations/divisions/departments
