Information Security Specialist
Description We are looking for an Information Security Specialist to join our team in Newport Beach, California. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and implementing security software solutions, working in conjunction with our managed security company. Your expertise in cybersecurity will be crucial in mitigating potential threats and preventing attacks on our internal network. Responsibilities • Collaborate with our managed security service company to keep the organization safe from cybersecurity incidents • Stay updated on all emerging security alerts, issues, threats, and trends • Work on the development and implementation of data/network security policies as needed • Regularly monitor and maintain all cybersecurity protocols for the organization • Take the lead role in the implementation of a NIST/CSF security program, driving structural changes throughout the business • Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards to support security enhancement and development efforts • Analyze network systems and structures to ensure a secure approach is always employed • Manage relationships and coordinate with users and service providers to implement security policies and communicate procedures • Regularly conduct audits to ensure all designs on implementation are vetted and update management on IT Security performance • Stay updated on technical knowledge of cybersecurity, understand vulnerabilities, and manage security applications • Provide a single point of contact for company security projects and initiatives. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Information Security • Proficient in NIST and NIST 800-53 • Demonstrated ability in managing Cyber Security policies and Security Protocols • Experience with Security Program and Cyber Security • Knowledgeable in handling Cyber Threats • Familiarity with Cyber Security standards and Cyber Security strategy • Proficient in Firewall Security and Information Security • Skilled in Network Security and Cybersecurity compliance • Experience in Endpoint Security and Information - Network Security • Knowledge of Information Security management and IT Security • Able to handle Security Incidents and perform Security Monitoring • Familiar with Security measures and Computer Security Incident Response Team • Experience in Change Management • Proficiency in Azure Sentinel and Microsoft Security Suite Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
