Information Security Specialist - Policy and Awareness (Hybrid Role)
Description 3 Days Hybrid from any of our locations in RI, NJ, MA, NC, TX or AZ Role is not relocation eligible. As the Information Security Specialist, you will focus on enhancing security awareness and education for both our colleagues and customers, ensuring a culture of security is woven throughout the enterprise. Working on the Cyber Security Program and Policy team, your responsibilities will include collaborating with internal partners to create, maintain and implement security awareness materials to include, but is not limited to, articles, social media posts, emails, webinars, and other outreach tools. While a successful candidate will work primarily on education and awareness activities you will also be available to assist other colleagues with projects and work as needed, including but not limited to Cyber Security Policy management, Cyber Maturity Assessments and other policy and regulatory activities. Primary responsibilities include + Develop and Implement Security Awareness Programs – Create and deliver engaging security awareness program for colleagues at all levels of the organization + Customer Education – Partnering with colleagues in security, fraud, marketing and others to increase customer education on security best practices + Develop compelling written and graphical content for various mediums including in person, webinars, newsletters and intranet communications + Creation of metrics to track and analyze the effectiveness of the security awareness program through metrics and regular reports to senior management + Create and implement strategy for new channels for evangelizing security awareness topics within the organization + Ensure that security awareness program aligns with industry standards and compliance requirements + Gather feedback from colleagues and customers to continuously improve the security awareness programs + Collaborate with other business lines to integrate security awareness into business processes Skills + General understanding of security principles and practices + Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills + Digital literacy with basic design and content tools + Ability to maintain consistent messaging that aligns with brand, strategy, and key messaging + Ability to develop engaging and effective materials + Ability to design creative and innovative communications Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials + Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, communications or other + Ability to create and maintain partnerships with a wide range of colleagues and teams. + Ability to self-prioritize work and shift focus as needed. + Comfortable working in a team environment and building relationships across the organization Hours & Work Schedule + Hours per Week: 40 + Work Schedule: M-F Pay Transparency The salary range for this position is $ 87,280 - $ 130,920 per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
