Information System Security Engineer IV (HPC) - Top Secret with SCI eligibility

As an Information System Security Engineer IV, you will:

A week in the life of an Information System Security Engineer IV:

Design and implement security features per System Security Plan (SSP) for assigned Red Hat-based Information Systems Advise ISSO/ISSM on selecting and applying technical controls as outlined in DoD JSIG, NIST 800-53, etc. Assist ISSO/ISSM in developing RMF body of evidence, including SSP, SCTM, and POA&M. Offer expert guidance in Cyber Security risk management across IT system development phases. Collaborate with HPC systems engineers during functional analysis and allocation. Apply secure engineering principles, architecture, and coding methodologies. Analyze architectures, allocate security services, and select security mechanisms for HPC systems. Identify, evaluate, and recommend CS risk management options for system solutions. Explore technical alternatives to support future CS requirements and policies. Assess COTS technologies/products against DoD INFOSEC/CS requirements and provide recommendations. Conduct Cyber Security assessment tests and resolve POA&M deficiencies. Provide Windows and Linux integrations recommendations and assist with the secure implementation.
