Information Systems Manager

Offering a brand portfolio that is well recognized within these industrial channels, our premium products address customer pain points and our direct sales team provides expert, value-added consulting at the customer level. ITW Pro Brands has 3 manufacturing facilities (Olathe, KS, Tucker, GA and DeWitt, IA) and employs 250+ individuals. **Summary:** Provide systems and technological leadership for a $150 + million revenue business unit with 200+ employees operating across multiple facilities. Our IT Manager will provide expertise in creating and deploying an integrative information technology roadmap that will facilitate seamless delivery of our business initiatives and divisional results by allocating the appropriate technology strategy. The IT manager will be a change agent in building business partner relationships across our business to bring business intelligence, systems and process excellence while managing the operational and security aspects of IT Applications and Infrastructure: hardware, voice and telecommunication networks and business systems and maintenance including Microsoft Navision and other applications. **Core Responsibilities:** + Consults with key decision makers to analyze current and future computer system needs. Evaluates, recommends and develops plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases, budget, and staffing. + Manages the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems for the organization. Ensure that IT development projects are completed on time, within budget and meet the agreed upon performance requirements. + Negotiates and contracts with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors for services and products. Provides support to end users in the selection, procurement, usage, and maintenance of software programs and hardware. + Use the ITW toolbox (80/20, USa, etc) to analyze the Division’s workflows and identify simplification opportunities. Work with end-users to implement simplification solutions. + Identify, lead, and develop talent to provide a high level of day-to-day support services while maximizing individual, team and organizational effectiveness in meeting strategic initiatives. This may include selecting and on-boarding talent, communicating effectively to foster a culture of engagement, cascading vision, creating goal alignment, and coaching through feedback, development planning and performance management. **Competencies:** **Team Success –** Participate as a leader or member of a team. The ability to gain trust and build confidence is important to this competency **Managing Projects -** The incumbent is to provide accurate estimates on projects and monitor progress to achieve results. Specifically, this competency requires the ability to monitor progress, report to appropriate stakeholders on project status, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. **Communications –** The position requires accurate communication with others within the business. Therefore, clearly understanding and stating business requirements to develop systems is important to success in this area. Additional areas of communication include the ability to produce documentation related to systems working in an understandable form by others. **Continuous Improvement -** The ability to evaluate current processes, and recommend appropriate changes is expected. Determine root causes of problems, produce a selection of possible solutions, recommend appropriate action, implementing the improvement, and monitor results of the improvement are important in this area **Customer Service –** This area includes the ability to understand user issues, translate them into action to correct any issues related to network systems. This includes the proper recording of user requests, reasonable and explainable estimates for time to completion of user requests, and execution to resolve user issues in a complete and accurate manner. **Job Requirements:** A bachelor’s degree in information systems or computer science.10 years of experience working in IT including 3 years as a manager with direct reports. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with business leaders and business functions and can demonstrate a strong track record of success understanding the needs of the business and delivering technology solutions that meet those needs. Experience in the following areas is required or preferred as indicated: + Experience working in IT for a manufacturing company is required. + Experience implementing and supporting ERP systems is required. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus + Oversee the management of Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking. + Implement and enforce security within the cloud & on-prem environment, including identity and access management, encryption, and threat protection. + Upgrades conferring with vendors/customers; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing EDI documents. + Experience managing end-user services, including help desk and technical support services. + Work with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology. + MS SQL Server Database Administration and TSQL, IIS server. + Design, develop, and support Power BI Dashboards. + Demonstrated experience leading or managing IT projects from beginning to successful completion including developing the business case, obtaining business approval, and managing the project budget is required. + Manage all aspects of the implementation and operation of information and functional systems for the organization including software applications, servers, networks, printers, firewalls, EndPoint Protection, VoIP phone systems, and end-user computers/mobile devices. + Experience managing consulting/contract resources is preferred. + Experience managing the IT budget for an organization is preferred. + Experience managing vendor relationships including negotiating contracts and pricing is preferred.
