A week in the life of an Information Systems Security Officer: + Review and develop Information Systems (IS) accreditation/certification support documentation. + Maintain RMF standards andConfiguration Management + Perform STIGS / SCAP on the network, Self Inspections, and enforce remediation actions + Assess Vulnerability and Risk Management + Create and maintain system Assessment and Authorization policies. + Create, update, and monitor/maintain SOPs and plans including PO&AMs, Continuous Monitoring,SSPs, andIncident Responses + Perform audits(Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly) to identify vulnerabilities andimplement countermeasures + Maintain IS security records and advise and prepareCo-Utilization Agreements + Track software and hardwareEnd of Life (EOL) and End of Service Life (EOSL) + Provide security coordination and reviews on all system test plans + Attend system Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings. Job Requirements + Active TS clearance with SAP eligibility. + Bachelors degree + 8-10 years of relevant experience supporting DoD/IC security and Information Technology systems + Current DOD IAT Level III certification: e.g.,CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, or GCIH + Experience withassessment toolssuch as ACAS,SCAP, andSTIG Viewer + Adept atbriefing executives and program IPT level leadership + Excellent communication and organizational skills + Possess ananalytical mindsetwitheffective problem-solving skills + Current or prior Special Access Program experience a plus!
