PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

 

Responsible for maintaining the support functions necessary to facilitate the flow of information within the company and provide direct technical support for all information systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Coordinates the implementation, installation and updating of all company computer programs.

 

Maintains installation of all computer hardware.

 

Trains and advises company personnel in the operations of computers and their software.

 

Keeps current on all computer software and hardware that may be used by the company.

 

Coordinates and maintains the use of all communications equipment.

 

Provides sales and management reports as requested.

 

Supports new hardware and software & operating systems.

 

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

 

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

 

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

 

Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof, and 3 years or more of database and information technology related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of computer applications and software, installation, support and technology training.

 

Demonstrated essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

 

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

 

Must be available to work extended hours when necessary.

 

Must be able to travel independently and overnight.

 

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
