IS Business Analyst Intern
Description: As you launch your career as a Business Analyst with Food City, you will facilitate all activities associated with the achievement of project goals or deliverables. The main objective of the Business Analyst is to work closely with the Operations/Retail business members to?help formulate and define project requirements as it relates to business requirements and improving business processes. This role will work as both an independent contributor as well as part of teams within Food City Information Technology to:?
Gather and document business requirements and communicate these requirements to others effectively. Create project-related documents including, but not limited to, requests for proposal, project charters, project specification documents, project scope documents, schedules, budgets, and performance reports. Development and management of a project timeline. Project communications including stakeholder identification, updates, and performance reporting.Execute projects to the alignment of published guidelines and Application Development Life Cycle.Software Development Intern
Description: As you launch your career as a Software Developer with Food City, you will be responsible for the development, creation, and modification of general computer application software and/or specialized utility programs. The Software Developer will analyze user needs and develop software solutions, as well as design or customize software with the aim of optimizing operation efficiency. Additionally, this role will build and modify SSIS packages, perform T-SQL development (triggers, views, stored procedures, tables, etc.) in support of customer requirements. As a Software Developer, you will work both independently, as well as in coordination with various portions of the Food City Information Technology team to successfully deliver projects. Core functions include system analysis and development, applications programming, database analysis, and ETL development.
Program Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a college or university as a Junior or Senior, majoring in a relevant field of study.Recently graduated with an undergraduate degree and are currently majority in a relevant field of study.Minimum 3.0 GPA, cumulative.Have strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.Ability to preserve confidentiality of company information.Ability to work with own initiative.Not Required, but Encouraged:
