SUMMARY:

The Manager, IT Disaster Recovery is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the IT disaster recovery (DR) strategy across a multi-hospital health system. This role ensures the integrity, availability, and continuity of critical IT services by developing comprehensive disaster recovery plans and processes. The Manager will work closely with hospital leadership, IT teams, and external vendors to mitigate risks, coordinate response strategies, and ensure rapid recovery of IT infrastructure in the event of disasters or emergencies.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, implement, and maintain the IT disaster recovery framework, policies, and procedures aligned with hospital and regulatory requirements.Lead and conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify vulnerabilities and potential recovery solutions.Establish RTOs (Recovery Time Objectives) and RPOs (Recovery Point Objectives) for critical hospital systems aligned with BIA developed by Emergence Management.Design and execute regular disaster recovery tests and simulations to validate recovery plans and improve organizational preparedness.Ensure disaster recovery policies and procedures adhere to industry standards, HIPAA, and other regulatory compliance requirements.Act as the primary coordinator in the event of a disaster, managing IT response efforts, communication, and recovery steps.

​REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Continuity, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.5+ years of experience in IT disaster recovery, business continuity, or IT infrastructure management within a healthcare or multi-site environment.Strong knowledge of IT disaster recovery planning methodologies and technologies (e.g., DRaaS, cloud-based recovery, virtualization).

PAY RANGE:

$85,000.00 - $120,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
