The mission of the Retail Technology Department is to design, build, deliver and operate robust, efficient and scalable Retail technology solutions that align with our strategic business and technology goals.
THE OPPORTUNITY
As a member of the Retail Technology Department, you will be part of the team responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving Retail technology solutions. As the Engineer, Retail Technology, you will act as the conduit between Technology and the rest of the business, supporting with lifecycle management and security patching key hardware technologies in our world-class boutiques. You will ensure the reliability and efficiency of all hardware components, including point-of-sale (POS) systems, servers, and networking equipment. THE ROLE
As the Engineer, Retail Technology, you will:
Install, configure, and maintain hardware systems.Contribute to innovative Retail technology solutions that meet business needs for today and tomorrow.Implement structured testing that ensures functionality and identify and address deficiencies.Support with the smooth and efficient rollout of hardware solutions.THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Engineer, Retail Technology has:
Proven and best-in-class skills, education, and/or applicable certifications:A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field is preferredA commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principlesThe ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partnersA commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the businessTHE COMPENSATION
The typical hiring range for this position is $75,000-$125,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
