i3 has an internship opportunity available for a student seeking a degree in the Information Technology (IT) field. The best candidates for this position have a professional and courteous demeanor as well as an eagerness to learn IT technologies used in corporate enterprises.
The IT Intern will receive mentorship from experts in the IT field while working i3 corporate enterprise problems. This position is expected to last the duration of Summer 2025. Flexibility is available to accommodate the student's class schedule.
This position is located at the i3 Corporate Office in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities Provide customer service and technical support to i3 Team Members; local and remote users as required via phone, e-mail, online systems, and in person. Follow-up with users until issues are resolved.Determine and provide best solutions to issues based on details provided; keeping in mind industry best practices and required security standards.Appropriately record events, problems, and their resolution.Experience hands on work experience in support of on-going projects.Deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment by managing time and effort across multiple projects.Perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities could fall within all areas of IT including technical support, operations, networking, and cybersecurity.
QualificationsEducation/Experience
Must currently be enrolled at an accredted college/university in an undergraduate or graduate level degree program (Computer Science, IT, or related field of study required) at the time of the internship (Summer 2025) or semester immediately following (Fall 2025).Basic computer knowledge/experience.Basic troubleshooting skills.Installation of workstations and applications.Knowledge of Windows Operating System.U.S. Citizenship required.Ability to obstain and maintain a DoD security clearance.Knowledge/Skills
