Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies in the Naval Acquisition Development Program (NADP) with Strategic Systems Programs (SSP). Responsibilities You will apply information systems security principles, policies, and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility. You will prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data You will conduct risk and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensuring IT awareness and compliance throughout an organization; 2) Assisting with the development of solutions to cybersecurity issues; 3) Solving IT and Info Security problems; and 4) Conducting vulnerability scans to detect weakness in systems. **NOTE: This experience must be fully and clearly supported in your resume. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. Attention to Detail 2. Customer Service 3. Oral Communication 4. Education In lieu of the specialized experience listed above, applicants must meet the following positive education requirements: Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree OR Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a master's degree OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience Education: All academic degrees and coursework must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions.
