SUMMARY
Assists IT Manager with day-to-day operation of IT Services. Provide technical assistance to computer users. Answer questions or resolve computer problems for employees in person, or via telephone or email. May provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties including but not limited to…
• Initially assists IT Manager with hardware and software configuration. Eventually, the System Technician will be required to take the lead on these tasks.• Learns quickly and can work independently while apprising IT Manager of concerns or issues where assistance needed.
• Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.
• Assist end users in office and at remote locations via telephone.
• Oversee the daily performance of computer systems.
• Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
• Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
• Communicates respectfully and effectively with management and co-workers.
• Occasionally required to perform accurate data entry.
• Desktop, Laptop, Printer, Copier & Mobile device troubleshooting. (Apple IOS, iPhone, iPad)
• Utilize procurement system for device and accessory purchasing.
• Windows 11 Enterprise Deployment via SCCM Imaging or Autopilot.
• Inventory peripherals and mobile device accessories and replenish supplies when needed.
• Assist IT Manager with routine CVE and Windows update patching.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• VMware virtualization, implementation, administrator, and maintenance
• Management of Avaya IP Office VOIP Phone System.
• Microsoft Azure AD Administration & Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and Group Policy
• Microsoft Office365 Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, TEAMS)
• Knowledge of Trimble Products
• Single sign-on implementation and administration. (MFA and SSO/SAML)
• Windows server 2019 and 2022
• Dell Servers/Workstations
• NAS and SAN (ExaGrid, ReadyNAS, HP Nimble)
