Information Technology Support Specialist

Performs a variety of duties in support of the information technology software, hardware, LAN, and WAN deployed within the bank and utilized by employees.
+ Responds to and completes, in a timely manner, tickets submitted by bank employees to the bank’s Information Technology Helpdesk or by other communication methods.
+ Provides technical assistance and application support to fellow bank employees, third party technical support personnel, and others, as needed.
+ Transmit and receive files for processing and/or archiving within established guidelines.
+ Performs a variety of network troubleshooting tier one efforts to support the banks internet presence and local / wide area network functions.
+ Deploys hardware/software to internal clients.
+ Assists in maintaining software/hardware inventory of all systems.
+ Install and support Network Printers and other devices throughout the organization.
+ Responds to inquiries or requests for information on the operation and use of a variety of software and peripheral equipment.
+ Works with the Infrastructure staff, Application Owners, and others on special projects and/or assigned service applications as directed by management.
+ Maintains a current awareness of new technology, its relevance to the financial services industry and makes recommendations to management for enhancement and advancement of existing systems through a variety of sources such as school, seminars, industry certifications, professional associations and other published sources.
+ Utilizes formal training and experience-based knowledge of computer systems, software, and programming concepts to function as a technical resource for the company.
+ Conforms to General Performance Expectations as identified for all employees
Qualifications/Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree in a computer/IT related field or equivalent experience preferred
+ Industry certifications such as A+, MCP, MCSE/MCSA preferred
+ Specialized training with PC’s, servers, LAN infrastructure, hardware, and application support/installation in an enterprise network environment required
+ Must be able to support multiple locations as needed; Valid Driver’s License required
Salary Range $19 to $29 hourly
Compensation offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education and, where applicable, licenses or certifications obtained.
