Information Technology Support Technician
**Job Description:** **Basic Function** The Information Technology Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT assets, and supporting various technology initiatives. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues. + Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripherals. + Perform regular maintenance and updates on IT systems and equipment. + Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. + Assist with the setup and deployment of new hardware and software. + Maintain accurate records of IT assets and inventory. + Collaborate with other IT team members to improve system performance and reliability. + Ensure data security and backup procedures are followed. + Provide training and support to staff on IT-related topics. + Document and track issues, resolutions, and follow-up actions in the help desk system. + Follow all safety procedures and support the company continuous improvement initiatives. + Other duties as assigned. **Education and Experience** + Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred). + Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or similar role. + Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking. + Familiarity with Windows operating systems. + Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. + Excellent verbal and written communications skills required. + Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff. + Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are a plus.
