ASRC Federal Professional Services is seeking a dynamic self-starter with experience in Information Security (INFOSEC) and Operations Security (OPSEC) disciplines to support the Pentagon's Joint Service Security Office (JSSO). As part of its INFOSEC mission, the Joint Staff Security Office (JSSO) is responsible for ensuring that classified information, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and controlled unclassified information (CUI), under the control of the Joint Staff, is protected in accordance with the authoritative policies that govern the Joint Staff InfoSec Program. As part of its mission, the JSSO is responsible for ensuring that all information, under the control of the Joint Staff, is protected in accordance with Federal, DoD, and Joint Staff directives, and that appropriate security safeguards are in place to protect against the release of critical information concerning DoD missions and functions that could cause any type of harm to national security.
The applicant will support the government by accomplishing various INFOSEC related actions through the development of recommendations for government approval by performing the following tasks in support of INFOSEC:
Program Management and Policy Support Classification Management Security Incident Tracking Security Incident Inquiries Security Training Self-Inspection Program Tasking and Action Processing Writing incident reports
