Infra Lead

Key Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Management: Oversee and manage the passive infrastructure at designated sites within the circle. Ensure the availability, maintenance, and functionality of infrastructure components, including towers, shelters, power systems, air conditioning, and other site-related equipment.

2. Operational Issue Resolution: Respond to and resolve infrastructure-related operational issues reported at owned sites. Coordinate with field engineers and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution, minimizing downtime and service disruptions.

3. Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for infrastructure sites. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and maintenance activities to proactively identify and address potential issues, ensuring optimal site performance.

4. Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and contractors responsible for infrastructure maintenance and repairs. Monitor their performance, ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), and take necessary actions to address any shortcomings.

5. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal quality assurance guidelines for infrastructure sites. Conduct regular audits to assess compliance and implement corrective measures as needed.

6. Site Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for owned sites, including site layouts, equipment inventory, maintenance records, and incident reports. Ensure documentation is easily accessible for troubleshooting, planning, and reporting purposes.

7. Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as network operations, engineering, and planning, to address infrastructure-related issues, collaborate on site expansions or upgrades, and support new site deployments.

8. Health and Safety: Ensure adherence to health and safety standards at infrastructure sites, including compliance with electrical safety regulations, equipment grounding, and proper handling of hazardous materials.

9. Reporting and Analysis: Generate periodic reports on infrastructure performance, issue resolution, maintenance activities, and infrastructure-related KPIs. Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.

10.Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the infrastructure team, including training, mentoring, and performance management. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure management, preferably in the telecommunications industry.

• Strong knowledge of passive infrastructure components, such as towers, shelters, power systems, air conditioning, and related equipment.

• Familiarity with infrastructure operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting processes.

• Proficient in conducting preventive maintenance activities and managing infrastructure repairs.

• Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to infrastructure management.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve infrastructure-related issues effectively.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple sites and priorities simultaneously.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and lead a team.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and their application in infrastructure operations.

• Proficiency in using relevant software applications for documentation, reporting, and analysis.
