Infrastructure Analyst
Join a top employer and advance your career. Exciting remote contract opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Analyst with our Government client based in Winnipeg.  This will be a 6 month term to start with an expectation total duration of 24 months. 

The Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for supporting the hardware and software infrastructure that powers the business application environment. This includes managing servers, storage systems, networks, and firewalls. The role involves tasks such as installing, upgrading, maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing infrastructure components to ensure seamless performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:Monitors, troubleshoots and optimizes infrastructure performanceIdentifies and manages enterprise infrastructure performance bottlenecksMonitors, troubleshoots and optimizes hypervisor, operating system and middleware performanceMaintains and upgrades the operating systems, software and middlewareRespond to incidents and problemsAdministers patches according to Vulnerability Management StandardsPerform backups and recoveryCapacity planningHardware maintenance supportTests and analyzes infrastructure performanceMakes installations on serversOversees system operationsDesigns and implements middleware software, maintenance and support requirementsDesigns and develops interoperability testing of many component productsDocuments integration and middleware solution documentationEnsures consistent use of integration of application middleware componentsDocuments infrastructure architecture and solutionsInstalls, maintains and upgrades infrastructure equipmentUsing process improvement methods to manage work and streamline processesOther duties as assignedSkills and Requirements:Minimum five (5) years of experience installing and supporting hardware and software infrastructure in a corporate data centre environmentMinimum three (3) years of experience supporting Windows ServerAbility to adapt to change in dynamically evolving situationsAbility to work in a team environmentExcellent customer service skillsAbility to analyze and problem solveStrong written and oral skills and ability to explain complex technical issues with stakeholders of various technical acumen.Clear Criminal Background check
