CTG is seeking to fill an Infrastructure Analyst IV opening for our client in New York. Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Overview: The Infrastructure Analyst IV will be responsible for complex installations, configurations, operations, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This role requires expert-level technical knowledge and will involve resolving complex issues, supporting cross-functional teams, and providing guidance to less experienced staff. The Infrastructure Analyst IV will ensure system and infrastructure adhere to company standards and best practices, enabling operational efficiency and risk management. Primary Responsibilities: Respond to and resolve complex escalations from the help desk and other internal teams. Analyze system issues, create trending reports, and work with partner teams to identify root causes and solutions. Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for work orders and requests. Troubleshoot technical incidents with advanced diagnostic tools, resolving complex problems related to systems and their components. Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including patching, health checks, OS updates, and configuration validation. Proactively manage operational risks by scheduling maintenance changes. Lead technical teams on projects and contribute to system design efforts. Train less experienced staff and share knowledge on best practices and troubleshooting techniques. Complete evening shift responsibilities as scheduled. Automate and streamline processes to improve system efficiency, availability, and security. Advise on and recommend solutions for complex technical issues, ensuring alignment with company standards and practices. Participate in capacity planning and help define long-term goals for systems and software, collaborating with Engineering and Architecture teams. Ensure compliance with company risk and regulatory standards, escalating issues as needed. Maintain M&T Bank internal control standards and address audit points or issues raised by external regulators. Foster a diverse work environment that aligns with the company's values. Perform other related duties as assigned. Scope of Responsibilities: Lead technical efforts within projects and operations, ensuring timely resolution of escalated incidents. Ensure all system hardware, software, and processes adhere to industry standards, including best practices in system maintenance, security, and availability. Serve as an expert point of contact for technical troubleshooting and decision-making, with a focus on reducing operational risk. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize systems, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure compliance. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: Provides mentorship and training to less experienced staff members. Leads technical teams on projects and ensures proper documentation and adherence to procedures. Education and Experience Required: Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience or a combination of higher education and experience. Strong understanding of ServiceNow and related ITSM tools. Solid knowledge of software, endpoint, and infrastructure hardware. Strong research, reporting, and data modeling skills. Ability to interpret technical information and communicate complex concepts effectively. Demonstrated project management experience. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders. Experience managing customer needs and multiple priorities simultaneously. Education and Experience Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field. Relevant certifications or special training in related technologies. Prior experience leading technical teams on projects or initiatives within larger projects. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
