Infrastructure and Contractor Coordinator
We are seeking to add an Infrastructure and Contractor Coordinator (ICC) to our team. The ICC will coordinate and interface with all activities pertaining to DCL site infrastructure and contractors ensuring safety, reliability, quality and completeness of the scope of work. This position will be responsible for establishing a maintenance and repair plan both short and long term for the site infrastructure to include but not limited to buildings and equipment specific to the buildings infrastructure, production support infrastructure, HVAC, mobile fleet, fire protection systems DCL established utility pipe racks, storm water ditches, elevators, boiler, etc. This position will work closely with the Engineering and Maintenance departments, area IRC representatives, contractor representatives and at times the landlord. Fulfill job responsibilities by active in-plant involvement and the establishment of sound working relationships with plant operations management and staff. Leverage effectiveness by utilizing outside resources to accelerate progress of process studies / projects. SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES Contractor Coordinator: + Schedules and coordinates contractor support. + Ensures that all site contractors are approved and maintain proper certification. + Follows all jobs performed on-site by contractors and ensures compliance with site protocol and safety practices. + The ICC must visit job sites to ensure the scope for each job has been executed safely and effectively. + Assist in effectively managing site contractor spend for the site. + Coordinates corrective, preventive, predictive and capital project work orders, when performed by contractors. Site Maintenance Infrastructure Coordinator: + Organizes and ensures completion of projects and work requests for equipment/assets that are not directly used for daily production. + The ICC is to coordinate with necessary resources to select proper materials and procedures. + Secures drawings, specifications, procedures and other information required to perform the work. + Obtain multiple quotes for larger jobs to ensure the jobs are bid competitively. + Reviews estimated manpower and materials for each job prior to execution. Once reviewed present to Engineering Manager for approval. + Prepares and communicates planned work with Infrastructure Reliability Coordinator and Maintenance Team Leaders. + Identifies annual workload requirements for budget preparation. + Attend a daily scheduling meeting with Maintenance and Production representatives to ensure proper communication of infrastructure/contractor work being performed/to be performed. + Perform additional assignments as directed by the Engineering, Maintenance and Reliability Managers. + Responsible for the accuracy of existing Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's) pertaining to job scope. + Review equipment, civil, structural, piping, mechanical, and electrical drawings to ensure compliance with basic engineering standards. QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE The position requires the individual to be a High School graduate, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the Maintenance environment, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent verbal and written communication. In-depth knowledge of craftwork and processing equipment are an absolute necessity. Strong organizational skills and familiarity with labor practices are also necessary. Basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications. Strong computer skills in Maintenance Management Systems are required. WORKING CONDITIONS This role will primarily be located at DCL's Bushy Park facility in South Carolina. Exposure to Manufacturing environment when in the plants. Interfaces with employees at all levels. Directs and manages EPC firms, construction contractors, consultants, etc. Interfaces with suppliers and customers. This position is a day shift schedule 7:00-3:30. Overtime is required including potential weekend, intermittent off-hour and shutdown coverage as necessary and/or assigned.
