Infrastructure Architect
Description Robert Half is seeking an Infrastructure Architect to join our client's team in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This role revolves around designing complex IT solutions, supporting engineering sales, and collaborating with various teams to ensure proposed deals meet customer needs and are supported by key customer technical decision-makers. Responsibilities: • Design IT solutions that address business needs and goals, ensuring they optimize value for both the customer and our company. • Collaborate closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers' business requirements. • Act as the technical expert in customer meetings, preparing and giving technical presentations to explain how our products and services work. • Secure input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm and adapt solutions as necessary to ensure appropriate support. • Secure commitments from customer technical staff needed to ensure a deal's "technical close." • Monitor customer support for technical solutions proposed throughout the sales process and alert the sales and account teams to potential risks of deal closure. • Opportunistically pursue additional business development opportunities within customer firms. • Generate new business and ensure growth of existing accounts. • Provide timely, accurate, and effective solutions based on customer specifications. • Communicate regularly and consistently with practice leaders on all activities. Requirements • Proven experience in creating and implementing technical designs • Strong skills in pre-sales engineering and the ability to provide technical solutions to customers • Experience in drafting and negotiating customer contracts • Knowledge of infrastructure architecture and its application in complex IT environments • Ability to develop and manage sales pricing strategies • Experience in preparing sales quotes and proposals • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Strong problem-solving abilities • Strong knowledge of industry trends and market conditions • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings or conferences • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
