The Opportunity:
CACI is looking for an experienced, innovative, and motivated Infrastructure Architect to support the mission objectives and needs of the customer, U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) in Tampa, FL.
The position is contingent upon award of the USSOCOM Enterprise Development, Application and Training (EDAT) contract.
Responsibilities:
Specializes in automating the provisioning and management of infrastructure using code.
Designs, develops, and implements infrastructure automation processes, using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and platform specific templates.
Automates the deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications, ensuring infrastructure can handle varying loads efficiently, infrastructure optimization and cost management is applied as Tags automatically, security policy and controls are implemented at the lowest level, monitoring is bootstrapped to the services developed, and a service catalog is developed.
Manages and maintains infrastructure configurations, ensuring consistency and reducing the risk of configuration drift.
Continuously monitors the performance of infrastructure to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Implements security best practices and ensures compliance with relevant regulations, protecting the infrastructure from potential threats.
Works closely with development and operations teams to integrate infrastructure automation into the CI/CD pipeline, enhancing the overall efficiency of software delivery and training.
Creates and maintains detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and automation scripts to support troubleshooting, maintenance, and future planning.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must hold an active Top Secret clearance and be SCI eligible.
MA/MS and 10+ years of relevant experience -or- BA/BS and 12+ years of relevant experience.
Current DoD 8140 – IAT II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+)
Solution architecture or solution development experience
Strong professional leadership traits, including experience mentoring, advising, and coaching customer and internal teams.
Familiarity of DOD and commercial enterprise environments
Desired:
Master’s degree
Cloud and DODAF experience
ITIL 4 Foundations certification
Working knowledge of SAFe/Agile best practices
Experience with cross-domain or multi-domain classification principles and technologies
Familiarity with IC/DoD Zero Trust and cybersecurity initiatives, architectures, direction, and solutions
Prior experience supporting USSOCOM

The proposed salary range for this position is:
