Job Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure projects to ensure they meet business requirements and performance standards. Oversee the administration and maintenance of PostgreSQL databases to ensure data integrity and availability. Provide technical expertise in database management including backup recovery and performance tuning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement infrastructure solutions that align with company goals. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in database administration and infrastructure management. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure high availability. Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure processes procedures and configurations. Implement security measures to protect data and infrastructure from unauthorized access and threats. Manage project timelines resources and budgets to ensure successful project delivery. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster their professional growth. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve infrastructure solutions. Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure seamless integration and support of infrastructure components. Contribute to the companys strategic planning by providing insights and recommendations on infrastructure improvements. Position Qualifications: 8+ years experience in an IT related role Possess solid experience in PostgreSQL DB Administration with a proven track record of managing large-scale databases. Have strong hands on experience of MS SQL Server Windows GCP Admin and MongoDB. Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues. Exhibit good project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Show proficiency in implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with industry standards Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $73,000- $115,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
