Summary

The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for design, delivery, quality, and continual improvement of infrastructure solutions for M&A from initial onboarding through complete integration.  The role reports to the Manager of Infrastructure Engineering and functions as a member of the Technology Integration Delivery team within M&A Integration.  This role is responsible for timeliness and quality of infrastructure integration activities.  The successful candidate will have broad, general IT knowledge to be able to rapidly assess new acquisition IT environments and contribute to the integration planning along with a dedicated team of business and technical experts.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Conversion

Assess/document new acquisition IT environment to determine general workstation/server/network design in support of planning for multiple, simultaneous integration projects.Deploy/Manage data transfer solution (GoodSync/BitTitan/Sharegate) in advance of IT integrationSupport on-site integration team with expert general IT and migration knowledge to inform them of user experience, migration challenges and pitfallsAnalyze source and to-be IT environments and develop technical plan in accordance with HUB standard practices around virtual applications, Citrix desktops and AD/Group PolicyPerform email migrations, archive re-hydrations, update mail records (e.g. TXT, MX, SPF), configure EOP, Mimecast for migrated domains, troubleshoot mail flow post-migrationDeploy standardized virtual servers for new acquisitions as needed from AWS, Azure, and Data Center VMWare platformDocumenting all migration steps performed via the M&A Tracking sheet – licensing, etcImplement solutions aligned with HUB Enterprise standards by leveraging AWS, Citrix, Office 365/Teams, Windows10, OneDrive, SharePoint, Avaya, InContact, PrinterLogic, Exchange On-Premise, MIM, and Active Directory solutionsAssist with post-infrastructure conversion support efforts, addressing and eliminating issues and facilitating Service Introduction to the IT Service Management Team

Quality and Documentation

Ensure delivery, quality, and continual improvement of the infrastructure integration processMaintain integration standards across network circuits, telephony, desktop computing, printers, collaboration tools, email, Citrix, and cloudEnsure integration solutions are properly documented and maintained in a content management repositoryCatalog, classify, and inventory application dependencies according to repeatable methodologies

Team Leadership and Management:

Qualifications

Well-grounded in technology and has a solid understanding of infrastructure conversions, specific experience includes:3 years of experience in technology delivery execution roles with emphasis on infrastructure integration projectsExperience working in a matrixed environment designing and delivering solutions for complex people, technology, and process integration programsWorking knowledge with the following technology domains:  network/telecom, email/messaging, Windows desktop, Citrix desktop, Exchange On-Premise, O365, and cloud (AWS preferred)Experience with Windows Server Operating Systems – 2003 – 2019, Active Directory, Standard protocols including DNS, SMTP, NTP, NetBIOS, SMB/CIFS, RPC, HTTP, and SSLDeep PowerShell experience; experience with other scripting/coding languages (e.g. PERL, C#, .NET) a plusMS SQL Server database experience is a plusFamiliarity of common change control processesMicrosoft Teams User AdministrationKnowledge of AWS, Azure, ADFS, and Office 365 technologiesDetail oriented with strong organization skillsExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal)Authorized to work in the United States, Canada, and Puerto RicoAbility to work off hours

Although hybrid to a local HUB office is desirable, we are open to remote candidates.

Disclosure required under applicable law in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, and Washington states: The expected salary range for this position is $95,000 to $105,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
