Infrastructure Engineer
Description We are a service industry company based in Houston, Texas, offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer. The role involves managing various technical aspects, such as network administration, cloud management, and active directory maintenance. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, responsible for the seamless operation and administration of our multi-cloud environment. Responsibilities: • Manage network administration tasks involving technologies such as Cisco, Aruba, and Dell • Maintain and operate firewalls including Palo Alto and Fortinet • Oversee the administration of a multi-cloud environment, ensuring optimal performance and security • Handle active directory management tasks efficiently • Participate in project-based work when required • Collaborate with the desktop support team to ensure smooth operation of IT infrastructure • Apply automation techniques to streamline processes and enhance efficiency • Utilize AWS technologies for various tasks and projects • Implement and manage backup technologies for data safety and integrity • Leverage A/B testing methods for performance optimization and decision making. Requirements • Proficiency in Cisco Technologies, with the ability to implement and troubleshoot network architectures. • Expertise in Citrix Technologies, including the ability to configure and manage Citrix environments. • Familiarity with Cloud Technologies, including the design and management of cloud-based systems. • Experience with DELL EMC Technologies, particularly in storage, data management, and protection solutions. • Knowledge of Dell Technologies, with a focus on server and storage solutions. • Understanding of AB Testing methodologies, with the ability to execute and analyze tests for system improvements. • Proficiency in Active Directory, including user and group management, security, and troubleshooting. • Strong skills in Automation, with the ability to implement automated processes and workflows. • Experience with AWS Technologies, including the ability to design, deploy, and manage AWS environments. • Knowledge of Backup Technologies, including the ability to implement and manage backup and recovery solutions.
