Infrastructure Engineer III - VSI Orchestration Services

As an Infrastructure Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the  Infrastructure Platforms, Runtime Compute Product Line, you utilize strong knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. Apply your technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies across multiple applications of moderate scope.   Job responsibilities Mapping test scenarios and defining test strategy Creating Automated Tests using Flexible/Open Source Frameworks Creating automated regression testing suite. Executing quality assurance tests to ensure application is working properly  Working with local and global team of developers; operational business SMEs and users Deploying of global platforms adapted to the local markets in Latin America Executes conventional approaches to build or break down technical problems Drives the daily activities supporting the standard capacity process applications Partners with application and infrastructure teams to identify potential capacity risks and govern remediation statuses Considers upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications Accountable for making significant decisions for a project consisting of multiple technologies and applications Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on quality assurance methodologies concepts and 2+ years applied experience Test automation. Automation frameworks such as Selenium, Junit and Testing Automation with Python, Selenium, Java.  Automating Cloud applications.  Micro Services, Service Orientated Architectures and knowledge of cloud based applications and modern technologies, such as kafka and RabbitMQ Strong knowledge of one or more infrastructure disciplines such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessments Strong knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.) Experience with multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds Drives to develop infrastructure engineering knowledge of additional domains, data fluency, and automation knowledge Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Source code control software (e.g. Git, subversion, bitbucket), Cucumber, Selenium, UIPath, HP UFT and CI/CD Working on high throughput mission critical high performance platforms which have low error rates Deep understanding of the Infrastructure layers.
