Job Description:


This job is responsible for infrastructure tool/service designs within technical domains in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. Key responsibilities include facilitating deployment of tools/services by leading others in solution development, maintenance of templates, playbooks and automation used during implementation. Job expectations include demonstrating expertise within technical domains, decomposing issues or objectives into work units, advancing efficient solution delivery practices, and promoting exceptional design, engineering and organizational practices.

Overview:

API Services team is seeking a highly motivated API Services Support Engineer to design, build and maintain MuleSoft / TIBCO based Integration and API platforms. Responsible for translating the requirements into one of the infrastructure design, build it, and perform QA/QC tests to ensure platform meets the requirements. Work closely with new clients to on board them to MuleSoft platform, help them setup CI/CD routines, configure MuleSoft runtimes, help application teams do performance testing. Set up monitoring, troubleshooting environment issues on Linux and Windows environment, and manage access.

Responsibilities:

Confirms that application and business requirements have been translated into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks to guide development and integration of technology solutionsContributes to the creation/selection of functional and non-functional product evaluation requirements within and across domainsReviews and may develop software solutions to address manual and repeatable work or inefficient processesReviews and guides the evaluation of reference models, blueprints, playbooks and the execution of on-site evaluations of third-party products being considered for firm adoptionMentors and assists Infrastructure resources on infrastructure service along with application integration validation methods and tools to ensure that technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standardsPromotes an inclusive and healthy working environment and help to resolve organizational impediments/blockers

Required Qualifications:

10+ years of Middleware support and development experienceHands on experience in MuleSoft Anypoint PlatformExperience in developing large-scale integration and API solutions using MuleSoft and/or TIBCOExperience in creating RAML and SWAGGER based API contracts and mocking servicesExperience in working with API Management, ARM, Exchange and Access Management modules of PCEExperience in creating custom policies and custom connectorsExperience in deploying API / Microservices using various modes including ARM, Containers and CloudDevelopment skills/tools: Java/J2EE, Eclipse, Unix Shell Scripting, ANT, Jython/Python, .Net, PowerShellExperience with Continuous Integration and Delivery practices and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible / Tower)Experience with SDLC development processes (Waterfall, Agile, Lean) and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Rally, Git)Hands on Linux / Unix and Windows experience in context of setting up MuleSoft environments/troubleshootingExperience with Service Oriented Architecture / Microservices etc.Willing to learn new technologiesExcellent problem solving & troubleshooting skills
