OVERVIEW Merrick & Company is looking for a full-time Infrastructure Engineering Coordinator (IEC) within our growing Water Practice at our San Antonio, TX office. Our Water Practice provides professional engineering services related to drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, and river restoration for the communities we serve. The IEC is an integral part of project teams providing administrative support to project managers and technical staff through the full project delivery lifecycle; from contract execution, invoicing, and through project closeout. The IEC brings a service mindset to their project teams, fully supporting team members in reaching their full potential to deliver engineering solutions for complex challenges in watersheds. Typical pay hourly range for this position is $28.50 - $38.50. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. WHAT YOU'LL DO Track project schedules and budgets and manage contract execution, invoicing, and project closeout. Utilize project management systems to transparently track and report critical project information, including budget and deliverable deadlines, and ensure that project teams have the necessary resources to deliver excellent projects on time. Organize contracts, financial documents, meeting notes, and invoices. Work closely with the QA/QC team to ensure that project deliverables consistently meet a high technical standard. This includes integrating accurate edits into engineering reports and proofreading for typographical and grammatical correctness. Communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with the project design team, project managers, subcontractors, and clients. Apply learnings and best practices across multiple projects. Actively listen to the needs of project team members and identify areas for continuous improvement in our systems and processes. Must become proficient in the application of standardized Merrick project coordination procedures. Provide meeting planning and general office support. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage complexity, communicate effectively, and maintain meticulous organization. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Five (5) years of experience of which education can be included. Experience in administrative and/or project management roles. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly the latest versions of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Candidate must have strong problem solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills. Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and be insurable under Merrickās insurance carrier. Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. Local candidates only. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or similar. Experience in the engineering field. Experience with project management software.
