Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability. This role involves managing on-prem and cloud-based systems, leading infrastructure projects, and supporting business operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in networking, servers, storage, security, and virtualization, along with strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Ensure cloud security, compliance, and governance best practices.Optimize cloud costs and resource allocation.Implement automation for cloud provisioning, scaling, and monitoring.Identify and implement cost effective solutions

Datacenter Operations:

Manage physical and virtual datacenter infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking.Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.Monitor system performance, capacity, and reliability.Oversee hardware lifecycle management, upgrades, and maintenance.

Security & Compliance:

Implement and maintain security policies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.Conduct risk assessments and disaster recovery planning.Manage access controls and data protection measures.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

Lead a team of cloud and infrastructure engineers.Work closely with rest of the technology, DevOps, and security teams to align infrastructure with business needs.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.5+ years of experience in managing cloud and datacenter engineering teamsStrong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization.Expertise in networking, security, and storage solutions.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Splunk, or Datadog.Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
