Description:Join the Engineering & Technology (E&T) Combat Systems team as the Infrastructure Modernization Execution Lead, to enhance and modernize infrastructure with a primary focus on F-35 platform.
This position is responsible to drive the execution of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics initiatives to modernize and improve Software Development practices on F-35, with an objective to share best practices to other Lines of Business as well. This position will lead a team to ensure that improvement projects are integrated into agile planning processes, facilitating the adoption of new tools and best practices across the organization. Specifically, this position is responsible for ensuring these initiatives are successfully implemented on F-35.
This role offers an opportunity to lead critical infrastructure modernization efforts in a collaborative and innovative environment, making a lasting impact on the future of Aeronautics platforms. In particular, this will require the following key attributes:
Drive High-Level Execution: Lead the execution of key LM Aero and F-35 initiatives, ensuring that all technical projects are strategically aligned with overall program objectives. This will require providing status to senior leaders to ensure efforts provide tangible benefits.
Oversee Process Development and Implementation:
Spearhead the development and implementation of processes that ensure efficient and effective project execution. This includes utilizing agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Teams for technical planning, execution, and collaborative communication.
Lead Technical Planning and Capacity Integration:
Provide leadership in project technical planning, aligning resources and capacity through integration into enterprise events. This will involve every part of the lifecycle from pre-proposal efforts through sustainment.
Customer/USG Collaboration: Act as a point of contact for customer and US Government collaboration, ensuring that all initiatives are aligned with stakeholder expectations and that communication is clear, timely, and effective.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience working with cross-functional groups and customer stakeholders.
• Experience interacting with and presenting to senior LM and customer leadership
• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership competencies
• Demonstrated team leadership skills to accomplish defined objectives
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or STEM related discipline
Desired Skills:
• Ability to synthesize strategic direction into tactical execution steps and priorities
• Demonstrated experience in balancing multiple priorities and initiatives and ensuring all assigned work is completed
• Experience with building and deploying software pipelines
• Experience with developing SW containers (virtualization) to support either testing or operational configurations
• Experience with cloud adoption initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative to solve problems and issues as they arise to facilitate project completion including creation of new technologies or tools
• Demonstrated ability to advocate for initiatives and show ROI on internal and external initiatives
• Understanding of Agile Development Processes and Tools
• Demonstrated ability to drive culture change at all levels of the enterprise

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
