Skills and Requirements This position will focus on packaging and deploying Windows workstation software with a primary focus on security updates, patches, and application upgrades in support of the bank's vulnerability remediation program. This position will also be responsible for addressing workstation client health issues to maximize deployment success as well as providing custom reports and metrics on patch compliance. * Solicit packaging requirements and prepare applications and upgrades for installation into the production environment using standard deployment tools and methods. * Application packaging and deployment using MECM, and other standard enterprise tools. * Act as a liaison and a technical resource between user groups and IT staff to collect, analyze, and document requirements for new software, and for the deployment and configuration of application upgrades and updates. * Provide Third Level Support to the Associate Support and assist other Patching staff to meet applicable SLA's. * Minimize end user impacts throughout the installation and testing of software, patches, and upgrades to system products. Resolve advanced problems and failures that occur. * Coordinate testing with application support staff to determine function, results, stability, and performance. Verifies the successful implementation of software, patches, and upgrades. * Maintain a strong knowledge base through ongoing research and education. Ensure consistency is maintained across supported systems.
