Infrastructure Services File Transmissions Technician

What does a successful Infrastructure Services File Transmissions Technician do at Fiserv?

In this role, you will help build the technology responsible for our core services. Your work will influence the success of internal and external clients across the world. Members of our transmission team are crucial in support of building file transmissions that allow people to get paid, receive statements, reports and settlement files, just to name a few. This position will be part of team supporting all manners of file transmissions as well as supporting our clients with troubleshooting and file set up.

What you will do:

Create Transmission JCL and script on Mainframe and midrange environmentsUtilize Sterling File Gateway as a conduit to the businessWork with file encryption standards, PGP, GPG, cipher suites and PKIUse your knowledge to utilize TLS and Certificate managementCommunicate directly with client, testing of files, researching file failures and advanced problem identification and resolutionSet up and analyze the transmission process, abends and resolve issue with client in a consultative capacityUtilize Connect: Direct and SFG using SFTP/FTPS software with SSH/SSLProvide solutions to unique setups on SFG, while working with clients and internal application teams

What you will need to have:

4+ years of experience working in an enterprise infrastructure IT environmentBachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience

What would be great to have:

Being flexible and easily adaptableStrong technical and service level abilitiesExtended knowledge of SSL Certificate and key build and implementations
