\nWe are looking for a motivated, process-oriented Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to support and manage virtual machines (VMs), hardware, software, and network infrastructure across both internal and customer-facing environments. In this role, you will work closely with IT, QA, and Development teams both domestically and internationally to build and maintain test and production environments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a seamless workflow. This is an entry-level role with up to 3 years of experience required, which may include internships and co-op assignments in a related field.  This is ideal for candidates eager to develop a broad skill set in IT infrastructure.

\nRESPONSIBILITIES \n\n\tVM and Server Support & Maintenance:\n\t\n\t\tManage VMs for Dev, QA, and Customer Support teams used for software development and testing.\n\t\tManage VMWare templates and bare-metal Clonezilla images for engineering and commissioning.\n\t\tOversee VM and networking equipment backups (routers, switches), ensuring they are current and easily restorable.\n\t\n\t\n\tTest Environment Management:\n\t\n\t\tSet up and manage test environments using internal networking tools.\n\t\tBuild test beds to simulate customer environments for QA but also as training opportunities for internal teams.\n\t\n\t\n\tCollaborate & Troubleshoot:\n\t\n\t\tHelp troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.\n\t\tProvide workarounds and solutions to ensure continuous workflow within the team.\n\t\n\t\n\tCustomer Site Systems & Expansion:\n\t\n\t\tAssist in building and configuring new production systems and expansions of existing systems.\n\t\tBuild and test expansion hardware for customer sites to meet scalability needs.\n\t\n\t\n\tNew Release Testing:\n\t\n\t\tAssist in testing new hardware, firmware, and software releases to ensure performance, compatibility, and stability before deployment.\n\t\n\t\n\tNetwork & Firewall Management:\n\t\n\t\tMaintain and support network configurations including firewall and switch management.\n\t\tManage DMZ configurations and partner/demo system access for customers.\n\t\n\t\n\tCloud & Infrastructure Improvement:\n\t\n\t\tAnalyze and suggest improvements for the existing infrastructure with forward-thinking solutions.\n\t\tAssist in implementing AWS/cloud solutions and configuration management tools like Ansible.\n\t\n\t\n\nREQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE\n\n\n\tEntry level with 3 years of experience in infrastructure, systems engineering, or IT operations.\n\tFamiliarity with VM technologies like VMware and tools like Clonezilla for server imaging.\n\tBasic knowledge of networking equipment (firewalls, switches, routers) and DMZ management.\n\tExperience with testing hardware, firmware, and software releases.\n\tFamiliarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS) or configuration management tools (Ansible) is a plus.\n\tBasic knowledge of Docker is beneficial but not required.\n\tStrong troubleshooting skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.\n\tStrong documentation skills with ability to follow and create manual and automated processes.\n\tScripting experience a plus\n\nThis role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management while contributing to both internal teams and customer projects.
