Schedule : PRN as needed

Shift : Mon thru Fri

The role you’ll contribute: Responsible for scheduling patient appointments, breast center surgeries, referrals performed at the hospitals, physician’s offices, hospice and home health agencies. Perform other secretarial/clerical/clinical duties.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

Schedule all physician office visits, lab and chemotherapy appointments.

Schedule any needed appointments and/or referrals for existing patients as needed. Ensure patient records are sent to the appropriate outside agencies as needed for referrals.

Provide Patient with any pre-appointment special instructions.

Contact Hospital to schedule patient surgery time per physician instructions.

Call patients to remind them of their appointments 48 hours prior to appointment time.

Perform other clinic responsibilities as directed.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

1 year medical office experience required

Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing required.

Previous surgery scheduling experience preferred.
