Responsibilities 15% 1. New products preparation Configures and calibrates new products as needed : portable instruments, FGFD products etc Registers them in the Service software(s) / equipment databases, assigns and sets up connected products into the Grid / Firegrid etc. Physically prepares the goods for the Customers 30% 2. Maintenance (preventative – corrective – warranty) Responsible for workshop operations on products returned by our ASPs / Customers : preventative maintenance, billable or warranty repairs. Decides whether to service each product inhouse or at another affiliate or at a 3rd party. Maintains the following instruments in the workshop: PG07/14 (FGFD), PG01 (SCBAs etc), PG08, PG20 and all other PGs according to the market / to MSA strategy. Performs technical tasks: Annual inspection, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, including on the IT side (software etc) Performs administrative tasks: Builds quotations or supports quotes calculation by estimating required hours, parts, external services Updates the Service software. Provides frequent feedback to Customers (repair status etc), issues detailed reports For warranty orders, creates CQN and take appropriate action (exchange, etc). 15% 3. Swap pool – loan pool management Manages the “swap pool” for our Customers: defines the amount or products to keep, maintain them in operating condition Performs the swaps when needed by ensuring traceability and proper data transfer in the cloud systems (assignment, configuration, history) Manages the loan pool for Customers and the shared tools pool for field Service technicians. 30% 3. Events monitoring for MSA+ Customers Monitors Customer data in the cloud. Provides advices to Customers based on their data: required maintenance, spare parts replacements, upgrades etc… Performs remote services (troubleshooting etc) 10% 4. Misc. Unpacks all products returned by Customers (RMAs) and lists them for our admin to receive them in CRM Helps other technicians when needed: Wingrip, FGFD etc including in the field (at Customers’) Prepares wastes for recycling: drills cylinders, packs KO2 etc Etc… Qualifications Experience (required): IT background, networks and communication, cloud-based equipment and data Experience (preferred): 2 years as a Service Technician or maintenance technician in an industrial environment Instruments/measuring/detection, electromechanics, pneumatics Gas detection Education (required): Electronics/electrical/maintenance BTS/DEUST degree or equivalent Education (preferred): English Italian Spanish
