**Job Title: Injection Mold Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking an experienced Injection Mold Technician for the 2nd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating plastic injection molding machines to produce molded plastic products from various plastic compounds. **Responsibilities** + Mount, align, and secure molds + Cycle machine to ensure proper closing of molds to produce pilot molds + Set up machines to ensure proper operation + Troubleshoot malfunctions with molds, machines, and other related equipment + Use measuring equipment and weighing scales + Work off of work orders and operating instructions **Essential Skills** + Experience with injection molding + Proficiency in setting up machines + Strong troubleshooting abilities **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to apply principles to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions + Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form + Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables + Proficiency in applying fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, and practical algebra to practical problems + Ability to read safety rules and instructions in the maintenance of equipment + Strong report writing skills with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar + Effective verbal communication skills with poise, voice control, and confidence using correct English and a well-modulated voice **Work Environment** The position is based in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility, ensuring a comfortable working environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fenton, Missouri. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
