Job Title: Injection Mold Technician
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Injection Mold Technician for the 2nd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating plastic injection molding machines to produce molded plastic products from various plastic compounds.

ResponsibilitiesMount, align, and secure moldsCycle machine to ensure proper closing of molds to produce pilot moldsSet up machines to ensure proper operationTroubleshoot malfunctions with molds, machines, and other related equipmentUse measuring equipment and weighing scalesWork off of work orders and operating instructionsEssential SkillsExperience with injection moldingProficiency in setting up machinesStrong troubleshooting abilitiesAdditional Skills & QualificationsAbility to apply principles to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram formAbility to deal with several abstract and concrete variablesProficiency in applying fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, and practical algebra to practical problemsAbility to read safety rules and instructions in the maintenance of equipmentStrong report writing skills with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammarEffective verbal communication skills with poise, voice control, and confidence using correct English and a well-modulated voiceWork Environment

The position is based in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility, ensuring a comfortable working environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fenton, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
