The Injection Molding Operator is responsible for following the training parameters to become competent in injection molding machines.

Responsibilities:  The Injection Molding Operator responsibilities include, but are not limited to, learning the process to:

Load plastic tubes onto molding machine and activate the machineUnload tubes from core pins at the end of the molding cycleMaintain cycle timesVisually inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality specificationsPack finished parts for shipmentKeep equipment and work area clean

Organization and Relationships

The Injection Molding Operator reports to their assigned Area Manager and/or Shift Lead

Job Requirements

            To qualify for the Injection Molding Operator position, the candidate is required to have:                  

Hand-eye coordinationBasic math skillsPrior manufacturing experience for six monthsAbility to stand for up to long periods of timeMust be able to use pull, push, and stretch out with wrists, fingers, palm, and forearmMust be able to twist body around to load and unload tubes from boxes onto core pins
