Injury Management Advisor, Workers Compensation Claims Management
What can you expect?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at LGIS – a mutual indemnity scheme providing WA local governments with claims administration and risk services, including injury management.
In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality injury management services to staff of local government organisation across WA. You will be working collaboratively with the clients and their immediate and broader claims team to produce cost effective outcomes for the scheme. In turn, this brings the best outcome and timely settlement of claims.
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Injury Management team at JLT Risk Solutions Pty Ltd. This role will be based in the West Leederville office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality injury management services to local government staff across Western Australia, collaborating with clients and claims teams to achieve effective outcomes.
We will count on you to:
Deliver injury management related services to local government staff across WA, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.Manage all aspects of Workers Compensation claims, collaborating with all parties throughout the claim process.Develop strategic injury management strategies and continuously monitor allied health treatment and workplace rehabilitation providers.Provide education and mentoring services to member organisations, along with regular updates on industry news and injury management practices.Proactively manage project initiatives to improve claims outcomes and conduct regular client visits and claims reviews.What you need to have:
Formal tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Psychology.A minimum of 2-5 years of clinical or workplace rehabilitation experience.Strong computer literacy, including skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.A current WA driver’s license and a willingness to travel across WA to support local governments.Pool vehicle will be supplied by the company for employee use as well as laptop, mobile phone and company corporate credit card.What makes you stand out:
