Job Description: Ink Manufacturing Technician

Bloom Energy, a solid oxide fuel cell company, is looking for an Ink Manufacturing Technician to join its world class team. This individual should be a dynamic professional who is looking for a rewarding future in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will be located in Freemont, CA and will report to the Sr. Manager of Ink Manufacturing.

Role and Responsibilities:

Safely handle chemicals and materialsManufacture various inks and pastesUse printing machines as neededRun quality inspection equipmentPerform equipment set up / change-over / low level maintenanceAssist in development of manufacturing procedures to create the most efficient processesRecord, maintain and report quality, inventory and production dataMaintain a clean and orderly work areaOther related duties as assigned by supervision

Skills and Experience:

BS in Science or Engineering or AS with 2 years lab or manufacturing experienceExperience with safely handling chemicals and materials preferably in a manufacturing environmentExperience with Quality Assurance equipment like viscometers, balances, etcExcellent computer skills: Microsoft excel is a mustEffective interpersonal and communication skillsSelf-motivated and able to work in team environmentAble to troubleshoot chemical lab equipmentAble to timely and accurately complete tasks with minimum supervisionMust be able to lift 35 lbs.
