Ink Technician

Adecco Staffing is partnering with a manufacturing company in Walpole, NH to bring on an Ink Technician. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position.
**Location** : Walpole, NH
**Shift** : 1st Shift - 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday (50 hours a week)
**Pay** : $17.00 per hour and a raise when hired on direct.
**Job Summary:**
The Ink Technician is responsible for preparing and managing ink for production, ensuring that all color matching, material handling, and processes are followed to meet production standards. This role focuses on reducing waste, increasing efficiency, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the ink room.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Prepare ink using the X-Rite system to meet production requirements.
+ Perform color-matching drawdowns to ensure consistency with established production standards.
+ Adhere to established processes and procedures throughout the ink preparation process.
+ Manage materials effectively to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
+ Label developed ink in accordance with ink room standards, attaching new drawdowns and weight labels to the pail.
+ Strive to reduce downtime during production runs.
+ Record ink usage on production orders accurately.
+ Maintain cleanliness in pre-match areas and assist with weekly department cleanups.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by management.
**Required Skills & Abilities:**
+ Strong color perception skills to match production standards.
+ Proficient in basic math skills, including multiplication, fractions, and percentages.
+ Basic computer literacy for recording and tracking data.
+ Strong reading and writing skills for accurate documentation.
+ Ability to lift, grip, and carry up to 50 lbs.
+ Comfortable using hand tools, such as wrenches, wipers, and utility knives.
+ Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 2-3 hours at a time between breaks).
+ Capable of performing job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
**Qualifications:**
+ Must have excellent color vision and pass a color test to verify the ability to distinguish and match colors accurately.

**Pay Details:** $17.00 per hour
