Job Description

Amcor is currently searching for individuals to join our Shelbyville Healthcare production plant!

JOB OVERVIEW:

As the Production Ink Tech, you will be responsible making, stocking, QC’ing all inks on your shift for all printing presses. Your main responsibilities as the Ink Tech will involve maintaining a safe manufacturing environment, Quality, minimal downtime as it relates to ink and creating positive employee relations.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

12 Hour Straight Nights, Monday-Thursday running from 6:45pm – 7:00am. OT as needed.

PAY: $19-$23.56 per hour

$1.50 night shift premium!

WHAT YOU GET TO DO AS AN INK TECHNICIAN:

Provide input in supporting Amcor’s safety culture by maintaining a safe department free fromInjury and exceeding environmental and safety requirements/standardsOverseeing the production schedule in planning and preparing for inks required.Working with Scheduling on changes and ink requirementsWorking with Maintenance as neededInteracting with all departments on different levels to ensure the safe and efficient operations

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU:

 3+ years of manufacturing experience (preferred printing experience) Possess broad knowledge of inks, solvents, material characteristics and production processes. Must possess full color perception Must be able to work a flexible schedule Experience using X-rite/Novaflow technology a plus Forklift experienceAble to work well with others / self-motivatedStrong mechanical skills Strong Attendance and Safety Record
