4-3 Schedule 6p-6a: Wed, Thurs, Fri & Sat is alternating

Starting at $20.48+ (pay based on skill set) + $1.50 Shift premium!

Principal Accountabilities
Ink Technicians maintain the following accountabilities:
Job setup for batch ink mixing
Create ink room color standards
Return, store, and use press returned inks
Formulate color matches for customer approval (proofs)
Ability to color match at press site
Mix adhesives and coatings
Conduct computerized color control
Clean and use 6S to organize ink room and dispensing system
Maintain and operate solvent distillation equipment
Assist with inventory of raw materials
Assist Press Assistants & Operators during change overs as time permits
All other duties as assigned by Manufacturing Supervisor
Qualifications/Requirements
Experience with effective color matching, color theory, and spectrophotometry
Experience with press-side ink and color troubleshooting
High School diploma or equivalent
Proficient mathematical skills and knowledge of metric conversion
Ability to accurately see color in required
Prior ink, lamination and adhesive handling required
Prior analytical result evaluation experience preferred
Ability to detect and solve problems that may affect the quality of the product, product aesthetics, or product contamination
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Solid communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Open to a flexible working schedule
