Position:
As an Intern Analyst, you will play a role in supporting consulting projects by diagnosing innovation-related challenges and opportunities for clients across industries. You will work closely with project teams to develop strategic recommendations, conduct research, and communicate insights in a clear and compelling way.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues in Switzerland and across the globe to assess client and industry challenges related to innovation.
Problem Solving: Contribute to the development of strategic recommendations by applying analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills.
Research & Analysis:
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize primary and secondary data to generate insights.
- Conduct internet and database research, analyze company financials, and review internal client data.
- Support qualitative research efforts, including interviews and focus groups, as well as the analysis of quantitative research.
Communication & Deliverables:
- Prepare clear and visually compelling PowerPoint presentations (with support) to communicate insights and recommendations to clients.
- Assist in developing client-ready materials that align with project objectives.
Professionalism & Initiative:
- Demonstrate a high level of organization, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering quality work.
Location & Travel:
- This role is based in Zurich, Switzerland, and requires in-person work at the Zurich office. Depending on client needs, travel could be required up to 80% of the time.
**Job Qualifications:**
+ Completed undergraduate degree (e.g., BSc or BA) with a strong academic background
+ Postgraduate degree (e.g. MSc or MA) candidates with expected high merit or distinction (or equivalent)
+ Relevant internship, full-time, or pro-bono experience is advantageous (e.g., consulting, corporate strategy, innovation management, venture capital, other financial services)
+ Ability to use reason, logic and creativity to solve ambiguous problems.
+ Excellent written and oral communications skills. Proven ability to effectively conduct secondary and/or primary research.
+ Ability to thrive in a relatively unstructured environment. Must have high tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to self-motivate and self-manage.
+ Ability to perform well in a collaborative, team environment. Intellectual curiosity and interest in consulting.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
+ German, French, and Italian speaking candidates strongly preferred for candidates interviewing for positions in Switzerland.
+ Have the legal right to work in Switzerland. Proof of eligibility to work may be required prior to employment.
