About this team:
The Product Innovation team shapes, surprises and engineers delight into the future guest experience through advanced innovation principles. We go beyond classic research and development methodologies into the realm of possibility for both body and mind within all of the places that our guests & lululemon choose to play together.
We need you to connect the pieces within the innovation team, those who are bringing to life the capabilities of our state of the art Workshop facility through utilization of our unique research, design and technology insights, and combine that magic with the partnering puzzle pieces of our strategy, business, supply chain, and guest experience; managing the process from user needs to first concept through to embodiment prototype.
A day in the life:
You are responsible for the operations & management of lululemon’s future innovative concepts, supporting in bringing new-to-the-world solutions to lifeYou support in driving our unique points of view to effectively show up through innovative solutions, ensuring the right balance is held Research, Insights, Product Creation & Advanced Materials teams You manage the process of getting from an idea to a tangible product solution, acting as the connective tissue across the Research, Insights, Product Creation & Advanced Materials teamsYou support the process through the ideation, insights gathering, research, prototyping and concept creation phase, smoothing out the bumps, holding to timelines, and driving toward meaningful product solutionsYou are the key partner in our vendor relationships, initiating the communication and managing the partnership along the journeyYou are responsible for initiating & maintaining collaborative x-functional partnerships across the business to bring innovative product concepts toward commercialization, including partners directly responsible for Product Creation as well as supporting teams like Product Education & RetailYou are accountable to creating, maintaining, and communicating out roadmaps across all projects within scope, as well as tracking and supporting in evaluating those projectsYou ensure our external resources are successfully maintained, including budgets, NDAs and overseeing our intellectual propertyThe accountabilities of your team include detailed project mapping inclusive of timelines, tracking, communication, status updates, project awarenessQualifications:
4+ years industry experienceYou’ve got a strategic, operational & innovative mind; you know how to shift between thinking big & futuristic as well as obsess the details to get the work across the lineYou understand how to manage innovation and all the complexities that come with it including the capabilities to map out a successful process, timeline & roadmap to best suit the uniqueness required You have deep, tenured experience in Product Management, Merchandising, or similar relevant experience You’re a proven strategic thinker able to navigate and support the creation of commercially viable propositions and all the surrounding requirement and content that accompanyYou have an informed point of view and are an expert on the existing market, future macro / meso / micro trends, an deep understanding of technology, research, insights & productYou know the best medium to share your ideas and can navigate and create across Adobe Creative Suite, Powerpoint, Smartsheets, and are generally literate in common digital softwareYour starting place is to create in a team setting; others gravitate to you and you have the know-how to assemble the right people for the taskMust haves:

The typical hiring range for this position is from $81,500-$107,000 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy: In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
